Abstract

During my time in the College of Education, I have observed a lack of resources for educators on integrating the arts into their classrooms. This project aims to create a website that provides educators with information on the importance of arts integration, steps to get started, and examples of arts-integrated lessons across various grade levels and content areas. To achieve this, I first researched the fundamentals of arts-integrated teaching, including its definition, significance, and methods for creating arts-integrated lessons. Using this research, I developed arts-integrated lessons for different grade levels and content areas. The project’s culmination is a website that offers comprehensive information on arts integration, its benefits in the classroom, and a collection of arts-integrated lesson plans for grades K-5 across all arts areas. This website serves as a valuable starting point for educators seeking to integrate the arts into their classrooms.
